WHAT IS PRESSURE WASHING?
Pressure washing, or power washing, is the use of high-pressure water spray to clean surfaces and objects such as buildings, vehicles and parking lots. Pressure washing is used to remove paint, grime, dirt, chewing gun, mold, mud – whatever you need – from a surface you need cleaned. Depending on the surface being cleaned, higher or lower pressure should be used, as well as the appropriate nozzle.
Pressure washing is a useful service for a number of reasons. If you are going to have your parking lot striped, then it will need to be cleaned first before the paint can be put down. Or maybe you want your walkway in front of your office to be cleaned. Or you need graffiti from your outside walls removed. Whatever the reason, pressure washing is a low cost and efficient way of cleaning large surfaces in a short amount of time.
While there are advantages to being a do-it-yourself, when it comes to pressure washing large areas or high on a wall, we always recommend using a professional service like ours. While pressure washing may seem no different than washing with a hose, there are safety concerns. The high pressure of the water not only poses a direct contact harm, but it can also send dislodged materials at a high speed. So, leave the cleaning to the professionals and enjoy the fruits of our labor without any risk to yourself or others.
